Season kick-off with Motorradwelt Bodensee from January 27 to 29, 2023 – Exhibitors to present products and services relating to motorbikes, accessories, clothing, and travel – New: Ladies’ World biker network

Fast-paced stunts and an enthusiastic community: Motorradwelt Bodensee 2023 at the starting line

14.12.2022  | Overview

Friedrichshafen – Southern Germany’s largest motorbike show will once again be revving up fans of motorized two-wheel transportation: Motorradwelt Bodensee will be serving up three days of solid action, products, and trends relating to all aspects of motorcycles, scooters, trikes, and quads spread across eight exhibition halls. “After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus, Motorradwelt Bodensee is once again ready to continue its successful run as a trade fair event,” says Klaus Wellmann, Managing Director of Messe Friedrichshafen. “The combination of an exhibition, event program, and live community platform makes Motorradwelt a season-launching event that simply can’t be missed.” Something that is brand new this year is “Ladies’ World,” which brings together women who are already part of the universe of passionate motorcyclists – as well as others who would like to join this growing crowd.

“It has long been clear that many women don’t want to merely ride on the back of a motorcycle but would also like to take control of the handlebars themselves. The newly established Ladies’ World puts a focus on this growing community of women motorcyclists,” Project Manager Petra Rathgeber explains. Whether they are newcomers to the sport or seasoned bikers, women with a passion for motorcycle riding can visit the Ladies’ World venue to meet like-minded people, discuss motorbiking, and network with one another in a friendly atmosphere. Participating exhibitors will also be presenting their latest products and services that meet the needs of today’s women motorbike riders.

Motorcycles off-the-shelf? That’s certainly not the name of the game in the Customizing area, where creative minds and expert gearheads will be presenting their unusual designs – from customized machines with exceptional colors to extravagant retrofits and conversions. Under the slogan of “Glemseck 101 meets Motorradwelt”, the special MO show will once again pay a visit to the fair: This exhibition of daring and unique converted bikes in Foyer West will be bringing the colorful diversity of Germany’s legendary motorcycle meet-up to Friedrichshafen.

Whether on one leg, no-handed, or even backwards, stunt rider Chris Rid will be demonstrating nifty two-wheeled acrobatic tricks while showing off his special talent on the vehicle. Supermoto riders will be shooting down the track at breathtaking speed because every second counts in this discipline. For FMX Jump, the motocross pros of the Wrecking Crew seem to temporarily suspend gravity as they jump and somersault over ramps. Meanwhile, the daring performances and tricks of the Trial and Quad Stunt Show are hardly any less spectacular. For those who are itching to try their hand at stunt riding after watching the event, there are various motorized two- and four-wheeled vehicles on which they can test their skills on the test tracks. Young talent on two wheels can take their first laps around the track on the kid’s course, while the quad course offers plenty of practice space to those who are curious about how such vehicles are handled. More experienced fans of motorbikes can refine their balance skills at the lean-angle training.

Tinkering, fine-tuning, repairing: At Motorradwelt Bodensee, the living workshop provides insights into careers in the related trade professions. Future pros from the Breisach Vocational School will be on hand to answer questions about what completing a training program is like and how it is to work in the industry.

Get your saddlebags packed! Whether you want to head off on a weekend excursion in the region, set out on a long-distance trip across Europe, corner through the switchbacks of legendary serpentine roads, or cruise into the sunset on a straightaway, the Travel Market provides all the inspiration you need for your next motorcycle vacation. The wide-ranging lecture program of the travel stage offers experienced fans of travel everything from biker-friendly accommodations to secret tips for the perfect motorcycle vacation.
