The international motorbike show will not take place in 2022 - New date from 27 to 29 January 2023 - Motorradwelt "Hock & Rock" planned as a meeting place for the scene in summer

Motorradwelt Bodensee makes a pit stop

12.01.2022  | New date 2023

Friedrichshafen - The upcoming Motorradwelt Bodensee is rolling back into the garage. The highly frequented seasonal start for the bike community in the border triangle will have to take a break again in 2022. "What we feared at the turn of the year is now unfortunately coming true: due to the trade fair ban in the current Corona Ordinance of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the international motorbike trade fair cannot take place," explains CEO Klaus Wellmann. "It is much to our regret, as we have already been able to successfully hold 14 trade fairs again since last July. However, the current developments and the political decisions based on them leave no other choice."

Yesterday, 11 January, the state government decided to freeze the measures of alert level II until 1 February 2022, which will then remain in place regardless of the occupation of intensive care beds and the incidence of hospitalisation. These prohibit the organisation of trade fairs in Baden-Württemberg.

Nevertheless, the bike scene in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland will not be left without a meeting place this year. With the Motorradwelt "Hock & Rock" on Saturday, 4 June 2022, the organisers are planning a meeting place with a concert atmosphere for the bike community at the Friedrichshafen exhibition centre in summer.

The 27th edition of Motorradwelt Bodensee is scheduled from Friday, 27 to Sunday, 29 January 2023. More info at www.motorradwelt-bodensee.com, www.facebook.com/motorradweltbodensee and www.instagram.com/motorradwelt.bodensee/.
