Mouth-and-nose coverings are not mandatory:

  • at each stand, provided that the exhibitor has ensured that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters (ca. 5 feet) between persons can be maintained at all times,
  • in seating areas, provided that measures have been taken to ensure that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters between persons can be maintained at all times,

  • when eating and drinking
  • when other equipment that provides equal or greater protection to other persons present.
  • Mask intolerance confirmed by a doctor’s certificate. Otherwise you have to wear a corona protection visor

Maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters (ca. 5 feet) from other persons is mandatory.

  • Each exhibitor hast to design his stand in a way that the minimum distance of 1.5 m can be maintained!
  • If the minimum distance is not possible on small stands, a mouth-and-nose covering has to be worn.

We have enough space for everyone.

According to the currently valid ordiance from state of Baden-Wuerttemberg the maximum number of visitors is calculated with 7 sqm per person (exhibitors and staff of Messe Friedrichshafen do not have to be included in the calculation).

With over 110.000 sqm we have enough space for 15.000 visitors daily (45.000 in total).

Our modern ventilation system continuously ventilates the entrance areas, the exhibition halls, the conference rooms and the catering areas, and supplies the freshest air possible of outdoor-air quality.

Our hall planning as well as the layout of the halls will be adapted to the current circumstances.

The aisles will be widened, the overall layout will be more spacious, and waiting areas will be added.

Plans will be sent out at the appropriate time.

As in previous years, you can cancel your participation free of charge up to two weeks after admission (probably made from end of October 2020 onwards). After that, our cancellation terms apply. Please find them in our special conditions of participation.

In cooperation with the authorities, we are doing our best to assess the situation realistically and to communicate a possible cancellation of the fair in good time in order to avoid additional costs.

If MOTORRADWLET BODENSEE cannot take place, we will naturally refund any payments already made for the rental of your stand space.

Any claims for damages shall be rejected.

If the cancellation is due to travel restrictions imposed by the authorities in the home country or in Germany and the travel restrictions make entry impossible or unreasonable for the exhibitor, the exhibitor will not be charged a stand rent or the stand rent will be refunded. The travel restrictions in the home country must be proven to us by means of suitable documents.

  • Disinfectant dispensers for stand staff and visitors have to be provided by the exhibitor!
  • Information signs with valid rules of conduct should be hung up at eye level.
  • Reception counters should be equipped with a plexiglass partition to protect and avoid droplet and smear infections.
  • For larger stands, one-way traffic or route guidance can be specified e.g. with floor markings
  • Think about allowing only a limited number of visitors (depending on your stand size) to your stand at the same time.

Exhibits have to be disinfected regularly after contact with visitors or staff.

Helmets and clothing may only be tried on with mouth-and-nose masks and preferably after hand disinfection.

Exhibits should be arranged in such a way that there is no accumulation of visitors.

  • Closed meeting rooms should be avoided
  • Meeting spaces should have an open design so that the minimum distance can be maintained
  • Tables have to be set up with enough distance or shielded with partition walls.
  • If you are planning a lounge corner, seats have at least to be 1.5 m apart.
  • Counters, tables and chairs should have a surface which is easy to clean, as they have to be disinfected regularly and after each meeting.

According to the ordiance there are no limitation of visitors for individual stands. The limitation (7 sqm per person) only applies to the calculation of maximum visitors on the fairgrounds. Nevertheless, we recommend that you use this value as a guide for your stand area.

There are e.g. following possibilities to limit the number of visitors on your stand:

  • Traffic light systems
  • Staff which controls entry and number of visitors

If you want to have more information about the different systems, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In order to be able to ensure that all persons present on the fair grounds can be tracked, all persons have to be registered – this also applies to you and your employees.

Because of that, exhibitor passes will be issued by means of voucher codes. When registering online, each member of your team must enter his or her voucher code to obtain an exhibitor pass, and will thereby be registered. The exhibitor passes, each of which is registered, will then be scanned on site for access/entry.

Yes. Guest tickets will be issued by means of a voucher code, which the visitor/customer can use to obtain a ticket in our online ticket shop.

As we need to limit the number of visitors on our fairgrounds, your customers have to decide on which day they want to visit MOTORRADWELT BODENSEE in our online ticket shop. The ticket is then only valid on the chosen day.

Our catering facilities on the exhibition grounds will be open. Messe Friedrichshafen's gastronomy and catering partner has adapted its food services concepts to the current circumstances and is complying with the COVID-19 ordinance.

Drinks may only be dispensed to visitors in compliance with the hygiene rules, e.g. sealed bottles.

Stand parties/receptions are not allowed in Corona times, as the minimum distance cannot be controlled.

The DRK (German Red Cross) is on site during the entire duration of the fair and can be reached during MOTORRADWELT BODENSEE by phone under +49 7541 708 109
